Resolved Question: Are whites with Native ancestry still considered white in America?

I was going through celebrities and these are some, not all, of the "white" celebrities who claim Native ancestry: Elvis Pressley Kim Basinger Johnny Depp Megan Fox Brian Austin Green (Megan Fox's husband, the dude from 90210, claims Cherokee ancestry just like his wife) Miley Cyrus Anne Hathaway Jessica Simpson Ashlee Simpson Billy Ray Cyrus Nicki Cox Mary Elizabeth Winstead Susan Ward Ava Gardner Shania Twain Tommy Lee Jones Kevin Costner Val Kilmer Bristol Palin Carrie Underwood Brett Favre Hilary Swank Hillary Clinton Dylan Sprouse Cole Sprouse Joe Jonas Nick Jonas Kevin Jonas Carmen Electra Heather Locklear Julia Roberts Emma Roberts Mandy Moore Cher Justin Timberlake Jessica Biel Demi Moore Rumer Willis Patrick Swayze Rue McClanahan Liza Minnelli Vincent Minnelli Chuck Norris David Carradine Cameron Diaz Milo Ventimiglia Ashton Kutcher Ian Somerhalder Tom Welling Billy Bob Thornton Rebecca Gayheart Kari Wuhrer Farrah Fawcett Amy Irving Channing Tatum Quentin Tarantino Teri Hatcher Johnny Cash Hunter Tylo I would include Angelina Jolie, but her family, as well as her family tree, have already proven that she is really not part Native American. So she can simply go down as one of the shameless liars in Hollywood. But damn. I just realized almost everyone in Hollywood claims Native American ancestry. I honestly do not believe all of these people have a Cherokee great-great-great-great grandmother. In order for all of these families to have Native ancestry, the Natives would have had to start out with at least 30 million deep. Something is up. You think some of these people are lying like Angelina? Anyway, back to the original question. Are all of these celebrities still considered white? @Shadow These folks are not a 1/2 Native.
